About Uzm. Dr. Ruken Ağaçhanlı Vural
Before his specialization training, he worked as a general practitioner in the emergency department of Batman Regional State Hospital. Throughout his working life, he has followed up and treated many inpatients and outpatients in psychotic disorders, mood disorders, alcohol-substance use disorders, forensic psychiatry and neurotic disorders units.
Between 2017-2019, he worked as the responsible physician in the general psychiatry outpatient clinic, probation unit and community mental health center at Ardahan State Hospital. He worked at Izmit Seka State Hospital between 2019-2021. He is particularly interested in sexual dysfunctions, trauma therapies, dynamically oriented psychotherapies, psychodrama and group therapies, and alcohol/substance use disorders.
