Uzm. Dr. Melike Özateş

After graduating from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, he completed his psychiatry residency at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Psychiatry. He gained experience in schizophrenia, bipolar disorders and depression, and postpartum depression in the male and female psychosis services of the clinic he worked during his residency. She worked on dementia patients and geriatric psychiatry in the geriatric psychiatry department. In addition to the rotation of child psychiatry, she gained experience in the adolescent mental health department, which is available in the department, on family conflicts, adolescence problems, exam anxiety, and attention deficit and hyperactivity disorder. She has been involved in treatment and group therapies and rehabilitation studies for alcohol addiction. She took part in the rehabilitation processes of chronic mental illnesses in the rehabilitation service. She took part as a therapist in both individual and group therapies in interactional group therapies in the neurosis service. At the same time, Prof. Dr. He received theoretical training and supervision in the field of Brief Emergency Psychotherapies from Yıldırım Beyatlı Doğan. She completed sexual therapies basic training from CETAD, received Couples Therapy Practitioner Training and Divorce Counseling training from Relationship Psychotherapies Institute. Feyza Bayraktar completed her Eating Disorders training. Working at Kars Harakani State Hospital in 2018-2020, Dr. Afterwards, Melike Özateş continued her clinical and academic studies in the Geriatric Psychiatry and Psychosis Service at Erenköy Psychiatric and Neurological Diseases Hospital, and currently continues to see her patients in her own office and as an assistant professor at Okan University Faculty of Medicine.
