Prof. Dr. Bülent Saka

Professor of General Internal Medicine works in the Department of Internal Diseases at Istanbul University, Istanbul Faculty of Medicine. He received his minor specialization in Geriatrics in 2011. He is also interested in Clinical Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition.

He is the manager of the Istanbul Medical Faculty Clinical Nutrition Support Unit, which was established in May 2010. In addition to being a member of the Turkish Internal Medicine Association, he is a member of the Istanbul Working Group of the association. He is a member of the Academic Geriatrics Society. He is a member of the Internal Diseases Working Group of the Turkish Clinical Enteral and Parenteral Nutrition Society. He is a member of ESPEN (The European Society for Clinical Nutrition and Metabolism) and ASPEN (American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition). He is a principal member of the Board of Directors of the Turkish Medical Association. He is currently the Assistant Editor of the Journal of Internal Diseases, the publication organ of the Turkish Internal Diseases Association.
