In her internship experiences, she participated in interviews with children in the juvenile court under the Ministry of Justice in 2016 and made observations.
Between 2013-2018, Prof. at NP Istanbul Brain Hospital. Dr. Nevzat Tarhan, he participated in the processes of the patients in the open and closed service, individual and group therapies as an observer with the experts.
In 2015, she participated in studies and projects aimed at reintegrating street children into society at Üsküdar Child Education Center. He completed his internships in Validebağ Nursing Home and state high schools. She worked with the Care and Social Rehabilitation Centers (BSRM) affiliated to the Ministry of Family and Social Policies with adolescents under care and protection within the scope of the Evidence-Based Mentoring Project.
She received her specialization in clinical psychology with her thesis on “Investigation of Aggression Level and Attachment Style in 10-14 Year-Old Children”.
Working with children, adolescents and adults, Gökdemir received test trainings to help him in the field of psychotherapy. It tests the areas of development, intelligence and attention. She applies the "Denver II Developmental Screening Test", which she received from the Developmental Child Neurology Association. It is the MOXO test applicator used in Measuring and Evaluating Attention Deficit, Hyperactivity and Impulsivity. It is the applicator of the Weschler Intelligence Test for Children (Wisc-R) test, which is used to measure intelligence in children.
Her work is mainly based on theory and scientifically proven effectiveness, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Theraplay 1 and 2 modules, Family Marschak Interaction Method, Child Centered Play Therapy, Developmental Contact Play Therapy, Sand Tray Therapy, Puppet Therapy, Heart Centered she uses hypnotherapy methods.
In the past years, she has worked as a psychologist in many different private schools, non-governmental organizations and clinics. She worked in the psychotherapy and psycho-social support team of Syrian and Turkish children and their mothers within the scope of the "Zeytindali Project" carried out in partnership with the UK Muntada Aid, the International Doctors Association and the Orphan Foundation. She gave group therapies to young people aged 0-6 and 10-18 staying at the Child Protection Agency of the Provincial Directorate of Family, Labor and Social Services.
