Op. Dr. Emine Çiğdem Karadağ

Dr. E. Çiğdem Karadağ serves as the Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon of Acıbadem Kozyatağı Hospital and Acıbadem Ataşehir Surgical Medical Center.

She started her specialty training by winning the Department of Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at the Ghent University Faculty of Medicine in Belgium.

In the last year of her education, his project on breast operations was accepted by TUBITAK and was awarded with an international scholarship. With this scholarship, she worked as a Clinical Fellow at the Mayo Clinic Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery Department in the USA for one year.

During her time in America, she participated in breast aesthetics, breast repairs after breast cancer surgeries, and plastic surgery, and received microsurgery training. After completing her specialization in the USA, she was appointed to Konya Numune Hospital as Aesthetic, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon, where she served for two years she.

Then she started working at Acıbadem Healthcare Group.

Dr. Karadağ works as an editor and referee in six scientific medical journals, five of which are foreign.

She is a member of Turkish Plastic, Aesthetic and Reconstructive Surgery Association, Turkish Reconstructive Microsurgery Association, Turkish Aesthetic Facial - Nose Surgery Association and Turkish Medical Association Chamber.

After completing his secondary and high school education at Karatay Anatolian High School with the third place, he completed his medical education at Selcuk University Meram Faculty of Medicine. In the last year of his medical education, he trained as a trainee doctor for three months at the Medical Faculty of Belgium Ghent University, Department of Surgical Sciences. He graduated from the university in 2002 and received the title of Doctor of Medicine.
