Betül Gökçen has taken part in many domestic and international congresses and conferences during her graduate education and has given oral and poster presentations. He has articles published in various domestic and foreign indexed journals related to his fields of study. In addition, there is a book on family relations, autogenic therapy, infancy, learning disabilities and a book section on their families.
Betül Gökçen is still working as a faculty member at Hatay Mustafa Kemal University.

Betül Gökçen Doğan Laçin graduated from Ankara University. She previously worked as a research assistant at Bozok University, Ankara University. Meanwhile, he provided counseling services to adults at the psychological counseling center of the university.
Betül Gökçen completed her M.Sc. and Ph.D. education in the field of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at Ankara University. His master's thesis is "Strategy coping strategies and self-efficacy of university students to predict cognitive flexibility levels", and his doctoral thesis is "Examination of parenting behaviors of parents with preschool children in terms of various characteristics".

Betül Gökçen completed the Psychodrama and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) training given by the Cognitive Behavioral Psychotherapies Association given by Abdülkadir Özbek Psychodrama Institute. Gestalt Therapy Training given by the Gestalt Therapy Association still continues.
