Doç. Dr. Turgut Karaca

He was born in Hatay in 1977. After finishing primary school in Reyhanlı, he completed his secondary and high school education at Hatay Osman Ötken Anatolian High School. He graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 2001. He received his general surgery training at the 4th surgery clinic of Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital between 2002-2006. He completed his military service in Balıkesir Military Hospital between 2006-2007. During this time, he also worked part-time at Private Bursa Acıbadem Hospital.
He worked in Mardin State Hospital in 2007-2008 and in Ankara Numune Training and Research Hospital 4th surgery clinic in 2008-2009. Working at Ankara Occupational Diseases Hospital between 2009-2012, Dr. Turgut KARACA was appointed to Iskenderun State Hospital in November 2012. He received the title of Associate Professor in 2016. Starting to work at Iskenderun Private Palmiye Hospital after 23-September-2016, Assoc. Turgut Karaca has published 8 articles in Turkey and 10 articles abroad. His areas of interest are colorectal diseases, perianal diseases (hemorrhoidal disease, rectocele, anal fissure, pilonidal sinus), burn and wound treatment, obesity, advanced laparoscopic interventions, breast and thyroid diseases.
