Between 2013 and 2017, he worked as a Specialist Doctor in the Department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University. In 2017, he received the title of Assistant Professor Doctor in the Department of ENT Head and Neck Surgery at Marmara University. During this period, Binnetoğlu made many original academic publications and studies with high scientific value and innovation (innovation). In the same year, he received the title of Associate Professor by showing outstanding success in both publication and oral exam evaluation during the Associate Professor application process. After this period, he conducted studies and academic publications on laser airway surgery, rhinoplasty surgery, advanced endoscopic sinus surgery, advanced ear surgery, head and neck surgery.

His article titled "Gelatin‐thrombin Hemostatic Matrix may Reduce Secondary Bleeding After Pediatric Tonsillectomy", which he published in 2016 by discovering a new method on stopping unwanted bleeding after tonsillectomy, attracted great attention worldwide. This study was published in Reuters Health News Agency, one of the news agencies (22 July, 2016, Reuters Health, New York, USA).

In 2018, he introduced a new surgical method called 'Intraoperative Intratumoral Injection of Gelatin - Thrombin Matrix (III-GTHM) for Carotid Body Tumor Excision' in the treatment of Carotid body tumor (carotid artery tumor).

He graduated from the faculty in 2006 as the third. In the same year, he worked as an Ophthalmology assistant for 1 year at Beyoğlu Eye Training and Research Hospital, where he entered the TUS (Medical Specialization Examination) with a Turkey degree. In the TUS exam, which he re-entered in 2007, he again preferred the Department of Head and Neck Surgery of the Marmara University Faculty of Medicine, Otorhinolaryngology (ENT).
He became a Specialist Doctor in 2013.
Dr. Binnetoğlu passed the EBE – ORL (European Board Examination Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery) exam in 2016 and received the European Otorhinolaryngology Head and Neck Surgery Qualification Diploma.

Dr. Binnetoğlu passed the USMLE (United States Medical License Examination) with outstanding success and received the ECFMG (Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates) certificate in 2017.
